Allamano
Children’s hope

Allamano Children’s Hope is a primary school, settled in Limuru area, two-hour journey away from Nairobi. The school is managed by a dozen of volunteering old nuns, by three amazing local teachers and by a cook and it guarantees education, health assistance and a hot meal a day to the tea plantations’ collectors’ children. While the school environment is tidy, clean, full of colours, trees and flowers, the children’s families live in metal-sheet shacks, like our Nairobi’s children do. Alice for Children has decided to help the Sisters of Hope and their school, by paying part of the teachers’ salaries, to keep on providing the children with the adequate education and the health assistance they need.
